Maestri, LLC – Architecture + Interiors was founded in 2008 by principal and owner Eddie Maestri, AIA. The Dallas, Texas based design firm specializes in full service architecture and interior design for new construction, renovations/additions, and historic restorations. As a boutique firm, Maestri, LLC offers clients a high level of personalized service with extraordinary attention to detail throughout the entire design process. The design team plans and consults with the client during every step of the project, working directly with contractors and sub-contractors throughout the duration of construction.
The firm has completed, and has current projects underway, throughout the Dallas areas of Lakewood, M Streets, Kessler Park, Preston Hollow and the Park Cities. Other projects have been completed in New Orleans, Houston, and the greater North Texas region.
Eddie Maestri, AIA – Principal Architect / Owner
Eddie Maestri, AIA, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, founded Maestri, LLC in 2008. Certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), he is a registered architect in Texas. Eddie holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas with a certificate in Health Systems & Design. In addition, he spent a semester at the Santa Chiara Study Center in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy focusing on architectural and urban studies, as well as expanding his talents in freehand drawing and art.
Eddie delivers custom architecture that is tailored to his clients’ styles and needs. Eddie guides the firm’s teams throughout the process of every project, while encouraging a collaborative design studio atmosphere. Eddie’s work has been featured on AIA and neighborhood home tours as well as in numerous local and national publications. He prides himself on his attention to detail and on building strong client relationships.

Katie Paulsen – Interior Designer
Katie Paulsen is a graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Katie is sharply perceptive to clients’ design needs and works closely with clients and contractors to formulate and execute designs that reflect a client’s personality, goals, and budget.
Katie aids in the implementation of working drawings and specializes in custom cabinetry design, interior finishes, and fixture selections. In addition to her experience as an Interior Designer, Katie also has experience with floral design and other mediums of artistic expression.
Brooke Kingery, Associate AIA – Project Manager / Designer
Brooke Kingery, Associate AIA, manages all phases of new construction from design through construction administration. Brooke holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. In addition, her study abroad and time spent living in Italy developed her skills in photographing the built environment that translated to work in architectural photography.
Brooke is adept at managing all phases of design, with a strong focus on presentation and execution of a creative concept. Her varied skills allow for diverse contributions throughout the architectural process and the ability to translate ideas to the client. Brooke’s passion for design drives an attentive and collaborative approach to creating spaces that not only function but enhance our daily lives through design.
Janelle Burns – Interior Designer
Janelle Burns specializes in furnishings, textiles, custom window treatments, custom furniture design, and interior styling with art, lighting and decorative accessories. Janelle works directly with clients and sub-contractors to bring full projects and custom design elements to completion. A Southern California native born in Newport Beach, Janelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising + Design from California State University, Long Beach and graduated from UCLA’s prestigious Interior Architecture Master’s program. Her past experience includes full service residential interior design for projects throughout Southern California including Los Angeles, San Diego and coastal Orange County. Janelle has worked with a wide array of styles, including mid-century modern, traditional, transitional and new traditional. She prides herself on her personal level of service, explaining design decisions to clients, and addressing every layer of design, architectural details and color.
Doug Beasley, AIA – Architect / Project Manager
Doug Beasley, AIA, manages all phases of renovations, additions and historic adaptations from design through construction administration. Doug holds a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. His time working with the Department of Energy’s ZEBRAlliance, and time abroad as a Delegate for the German-American Chamber of Commerce, has helped hone his understanding of the built environment as a tool to better the lives of those who experience it.
After graduating from the University of Tennessee in 2011, Doug has worked in the design, production and delivery of various types of architectural projects including Senior Living, Medical Office Buildings, Hospitals, and Commercial buildings. Doug’s approach to design consists of simple, yet rational plans that answer to the project’s context and the client’s design requirements.
